New Years Resolutions

Everyone makes resolutions and many are forgotten after the first month. I hope this won't happen to me and that by showing it to whoever reads my blog, I will have to stick with them. I have 5 basic resolutions that I plan on keeping the whole year.

To ensure that I do stick to my resolutions I set up a reward system. At the end of the year after I check off which resolutions I had done and stuck with I will reward my self with a gift. The size of the gift is dependent on how many resolutions I had completed. If I complete all 5 I will reward myself with a $100 gift. $20 for each resolution. Now here they are.

1.) Do well on my SAT's-The  the first time I take them I am wishing to at least get an 1800. The second time I want to break 2000. Not impossible but will take some studying.

2.) Lose weight- I know everyone puts this on their list and it is a bit cliche. But I am about 20lbs over where I should be and I don't want it to be there anymore. So I will work out everyday and eat much much healthier than I have been.

3.) Read more- I used to love reading but with my new found addiction to Tumblr and Netflix, I have had no time to just enjoy reading. So for this year I plan on reading 10 books for pleasure in addition to what I have to read for school.

4.) Write more- I used to write stories all the time and even won a contest for one that I wrote about fairies( I was in 1st grade). So I plan on writing more stories and I have even gotten on that one yesterday.

5.) Get better grades- Don't get me wrong I have pretty good grades but I always want to do better. So I plan on getting all A's for the rest of the year. This will challenge me because I am a B student in my honors classes right now.

Music Monday

Ahh the sound of Christmas Music. It is now acceptable to be in the Christmas spirit. Listening to the classic Christmas songs are my favorite. My favorite classic singer is Bing Crosby. What is not to love about him, especially White Christmas?

25 days!

December 1st you guys. It is now acceptable to be in the Christmas spirit. Today marked Countdown to Christmas on ABC Family. They started out with Elf tonight, one of my fags! But I can't wait for White Christmas which is my all time favorite Christmas movie. My sister and I always bake cookies and watch this movie together. I mean how can you resist Bing Crosby? Anyway happy decorating and celebrating!
